Jennifer Aniston Debuted a Lob Haircut at the 2024 Golden Globes

Plus a cherry-mocha manicure.

Jennifer Aniston is known for her effortless, simple style. Over the years, she’s honed it to perfection: easy breezy waves, minimal makeup, a great sunny glow. On the red carpet, you can pretty much guess that Aniston will wear a black gown in a streamlined silhouette—no muss, no fuss. But she changed things up in a surprising way for the 2024 Golden Globes, debuting both a sleek blown-out lob haircut and opting for a rich cherry-mocha manicure instead of her go-to beige and milky shades.

The Morning Show star hit the carpet in a strapless black dress with a subtle sweetheart neckline and beaded column skirt, her dark red nails providing a gorgeous contrast against the textured skirt. Her hair was styled with a simple blowout—but is definitely many inches shorter than it was just days ago, leading us to believe Aniston was in the mood for a pre-red carpet chop. Her honey blonde hair was cut to collarbone length, parted to one side, and blown out straight with the tiniest bend for movement, per Aniston’s signature laid-back, California-cool vibe.

True to form, the star wore fairly natural-looking makeup, with defined lashes, apricot blush and a neutral lip. Her nails were short and filed in a soft almond shape, then painted with a rich black cherry color (a much vampier direction than we usually see from her, but a chic and trendy pick for the red carpet). As Byrdie predicted in fall 2023, dark burgundy and cherry mocha tones are poised to be one of the dominating trends of this season, and since Aniston has given the color her stamp of approval at such a high-profile event, it’s only bound to get bigger.
