We all know Taylor Swift is one of the world’s biggest pop stars—after all, her Eras Tour was history-making and quite literally economy-boosting. Since the tour wasn’t just contained to the world’s biggest stadiums, but made its way to movie theaters as well, Swift landed herself a nomination at the 2024 Golden Globes: She was nominated for a new category, Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, for her concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.
Seeing as this has been the year of Swift—her movie grossed $250.3 million dollars and became the most successful concert film of all time—the nomination comes as no surprise. However, we are just happy it gifted us another red carpet moment from the icon (and a good one, might we add).
Swift came to the carpet in the glitziest green Gucci gown and De Beers jewelry. Tight fitting and blindingly glittery, the dress had thin spaghetti straps and a floor length silhouette with side-bearing cut-outs.
Despite the dress deserving an awards of its own, we couldn’t help but zoom in on her nails and see the shimmery, shiny finish of her dress made it’s way to her manicure. Her medium-length, almond-shaped nails started with an ultra-glossy base coat. On top, Swift opted for what otherwise would be considered the perfect glazed donut manicure, except she swapped the chrome finish for high shine glittery specks.
As for glam, her hair and makeup were also top tier. She had a shiny, bouncy blowout to showcase her bangs and minimal makeup. Her skin had a luminous finish, her lips offered a mauve-y pink moment, and her lashes were coated in inky-black mascara.
This isn’t the first time Swift has been nominated at the Golden Globes. Most recently she was nominated for Best Original Song in 2023 and 2020, however she didn’t walk the carpet last year. Before that, in 2013 and 2014, she was nominated for the same category.
